The mortal Rose was abandoned on their 18th birthday by their abusive foster father, and thus had to learn to fend for themselves.

Rose found a new family with a drug dealer, a dancer and a grad student. When Rose wasn’t working as a server, Rose would bust some heads in underground MMA fights.

One of those fights caught the eye of a recruiting Gangrel who needed more scrappy folks like Rose to join in the Night War. After stalking Rose for the night, the Gangrel attacked and embraced them.

Rose was forced to leave all that they had known, including their found family and even their dog, to wander the night alone . . . staying in crypts or abandoned garages during the daytime.

Rose eventually did find others of their kind and made a name for themselves as a skilled combatant in the Battle of Bowie when Rose personally felled several Sabbat, including the ductus.

Rose was made a lieutenant of the S’eth Adar of the Camarilla of the Domain of Georgetown and patrolled the streets at night with the Malkavian Prentiss to fix problems . . . one way or another.

All would change for Rose again when the Sabbat attacked Georgetown and Rose’s coterie was spread to the four winds or destroyed. Rose flew away to the refuge of a friend who lived in the far wilderness: Frieda.

Frieda convinced Rose that she had found new purpose with The Sisterhood and that answers to Rose’s questions could be found among them. Rose could not expect that this meeting with The Sisterhood would eventually result in a spiritual and physical transformation, altering Rose yet again: this time infused with a cohabitating spirit and living in a new body.

Statistics:

Died: December 27, 1985, aged 22.

Generation: Tenth generation Gangrel

Gateway: Spirit

Sire: Bennett, an occasional nominal member of the S’eth Adar and traveling loner.

Haven: Rose has an unattached trailer in the woods near Six Flags America in the Belt Woods Natural Environment Area near Bowie, Md., though is primarily nomadic.

Alliances:

  • [FORMER] Lieutenant in the S’eth Adar, second-in-command under (late) General Karl Raeger. Now a deserter, though few would recognize Rose in her new body.

  • [FORMER] Romantic relationship with Jinx of the Malkavians.

  • [FORMER] In a coterie with Jinx of the Malkavians, Vitus of the Ventrue and Henry of the Nosferatu. Henry is presumed dead, Vitus was taken by a Sabbat priest and is also likely dead (or worse), and Jinx has joined with Hirut and rogue Malkavians to bring about the end of the world.

  • In a coterie with Gwenevieve Rossellini of the Giovanni, Zachary Sellz of the Malkavians and Asa Freeman of the Salubri

  • On excellent terms with The Sisterhood. Nana Kahenta, the elder progenitor of the Sisterhood, currently travels with Rose, believing her to be of cosmic importance.

Ghouls: none

Special Abilities: Rose is an excellent fighter (and was, even before death), with both preternatural gifts and practiced skill. Rose is an accomplished tracker with keen senses and training. Rose has learned to make “clothes” out of animal furs for herself after transformation using a modified application of Protean and Animalism. Rose has slowly been learning powers tied to the spirits, and her Gateway abilities allow her to manipulate ley lines and nodes.

Weaknesses: Rose had the Gangrel Clan weakness of animalistic features becoming more prominent following frenzy, though now that she has been spiritually changed by the rituals of the Sisterhood, her weakness is in her blood. Rose is no longer capable of maintaining ghouls, blood bonding or siring childer. She began unlife with vaguely glowing eyes and a frenzy had left her with wolf-like ears. Rose is also susceptible to blind rage and thus must guard against frenzy more than most and must watch the lunar cycle.
