Zachary Sellz worked as a late-night radio host at WRXL Radio Alexandria under the call name of “DJ Zakz” . . . and ever more increasingly as “DJ Prophet” . . . alongside his best friend and co-host “DJ Ben Jammin,” Benjamin Meyer.
Zachary had been plagued with debilitating nightmares throughout much of his life, but he had learned to cope with the help of his friend Ben’s help.
But then, cataclysmic visions of the future started to infect Zachary as dreams and even as waking nightmares. As DJ Zakz started recounting the visions over the radio, he started to get some very strange calls — stranger than usual.
Zachary’s life changed when he was assaulted by what appeared to be a homeless man while the hapless DJ was walking home from work in the darkest night of early morning. The man turned out to be a Malkavian on a mission inspired from forces beyond human reckoning. The Malkavian brought Zachary to a park and introduced himself as Immanuel and embraced him. Zachary was to become the Prophet Zachariah: Harbinger of Gehenna and spread the message of the Final Nights to the world. His Great Work as the Voice of Malkav had only begun.
Forces from ancient factions predating the Camarilla and Sabbat vie for control of the Prophet and seek him out across time and space to forestall — or expedite — the End of the World. The first to track him down was a Tremere agent of the Inner Council, but the Prophet Zachariah’s nightmare had only just begun.

Haven: Rented an apartment, though it is likely compromised by now . . . and his rent is due. Currently staying at the Giovanni Expedition’s anomaly site near Manassas, Va. and has taken to staying inside the Mekhetim Temple itself.
Alliances:
Zachary is in a coterie with the Gateways of Gehenna: Rose of the Sisterhood, Asa of the Salubri and Gwenevieve of the Giovanni. They maintain a shared base of power at the Giovanni Expedition’s anomaly site at a farm in rural Virginia near Manassas.
The Giovanni Expedition, led by Gwenevieve Rossellini, is currently giving Zachary and his charges shelter. The Expedition is well outfitted with weapons, blood (though not an unlimited amount of blood), vehicles and other material. The Expedition includes a number of Giovanni ghouls and wraiths.
Sascha Vykos, Archbishop of Washington, Priscus (and co-founder) of the Sabbat, has pledged secret support to the Prophet and his retinue (Rose and Asa under pseudonyms). Though, Sascha doesn’t necessarily know about — and would likely be antagonistic to — Zachary’s connection to the Giovanni.
Supported (perhaps even worshipped) by the elder cultists of OTCAL. The fate of OTCAL is shaky at the moment, with Joan of the Malkavians having disappeared while fleeing for her unlife and her account to Zachary in the Cobweb of an attack upon the methuselah Samal. Nikoli, Nadia, Alexi and the other cultists’ fate is unknown, though they would supply material aid to Zachary should they be able.
Clanmates Cedric and Comet have joined Zachary’s group and are currently working to fragment and then defragment Zachary’s new childe’s mind.
The Sisterhood, led by Nana Kahenta, could be counted as allies. Nana and Vousette have joined the camp directly and maintain an obfuscating spiritual flame which protects Zachary and the troupe from Tremere scrying. Frieda and other members of the bloodline go on missions abroad but have pledged to return to aid when necessary and to meet nearby for their half-moon gather when they are able.
The Antediluvian Malkav is inside of Zachary’s mind and has made contact with Saulot
Ghouls: None.
Childer: Benjamin Meyer. Benjamin was Zachary’s best friend as a mortal. Zachary ghouled Ben with Ben’s assent when they were at an impasse with their Kindred benefactor, “George,” who insisted that only those “of the blood” could know of the Kindred. Both Ben and Zachary are unaware of the implications of this. Later, Benjamin drove a knife into his chest to force his sire to embrace him. Benjamin has yet to recover from the Malkavian embrace.
Special Abilities: The sky is the limit, so who is to say? Zachary has intense visions of the end of the world, has begun to have other less-apocalyptic precognition, has begun to understand the sight-beyond-sight and can use the Cobweb through mirrors. Zachary is unaware of the great power that is bubbling under the surface of his skin, though he is beginning to get a grasp of it. Following a vision at OTCAL, he has sprouted a third eye.
Weaknesses: Zachary has difficulty in separating reality from his nightmare state and continues to be wracked with daymares, undead as he is. The thick tendrils of the Cobweb all around him makes it difficult for Zachary to have a normal evening and might well be lost in a trance for any given period of time, leaving him completely vulnerable to attack.
