H.B. Kershaw was a hard-nosed White House pool reporter for the Washington Post. But, he started slowing down when health problems began to catch up with him and his workplace noticed. He was handed a lead which caught his interest. Just as he began to explore it, he was put on administrative leave for his declining health.
H.B. couldn’t let it go and even fighting death itself, he trudged on following the lead. But strange things began happening with his furnishings being rearranged. He met up with a contact who ended up offering him more than information. The Nosferatu had been looking for someone with H.B.’s specific talents and his “ticking clock” made him an excellent candidate for the embrace.
H.B. was made into an Operative to work mostly topside (after a brief year in “orientation” in the Undercity) as one of the faces of the Clan. All of this came at a time of great cataclysm with the fall of Georgetown to the Sabbat. Kershaw is tasked with finding out what became of his fellow Operative, Henry. He is to assess and then report for orders . . . things are spinning out of control.

Weaknesses: Harold is a Nosferatu, and as such is hideously ugly. He is one of the “pretty ones,” though, so not as bad as many. In certain light and in certain clothes and a hat, he can even pass in crowds without comment or too many stares without activating his Disciplines.
